Good Bye One Day Laptop

14th June 2009, Sunday. Good bye my laptop, Compact Presario CQ45-304. I just used for one day and returned back to SenQ. It's a long story. The staff there 'cheat' me or I should say that he did not explain properly to me. Initially, he told me that I could simply just upgrade the RAM at any shop outside and the warranty would not be voided. However, today when I went there to inquire about the Internet Explorer, the manager realized that I upgraded my RAM. He explained to me that if any problem occurs in future due to RAM, SenQ would not be responsible for it unless the problem is caused by other hardware which is irrelevant to RAM. I was so surprised and unsatisfied. The manager was willing to exchange another same unit for me but I did not want to accept as the laptop has only 1GB RAM. It's too slow to operate Window Vista. Superb slow for me. I'll not get used to it as my old laptop was faster than this new laptop. I was allowed to change for another model but I could not find any model which I like. Finally, I have decided to do cancellation and they're willing to return the money to me in one month time. Thanks god! I did not have to force myself to simply grab one unit of laptop from them. I will not buy myself a new laptop at the moment until I get back the money from them as Window Vista still could not allow me to run 3D Max. The manager was quite good I would say. At least they're willing to admit their staff's carelessness. He even paid me back the RM83 which I used to buy the 2GB RAM. So, my total lost is RM12 for the membership renewal. Thanks god!

New Laptop

13th June 2009, Saturday. Finally, I have bought myself a new laptop, Compact Presario CQ45-304 at RM2549 from Sen Heng Electrical. I have added another RM359 for 3rd and 4th year warranty. With this new laptop, I hope that I can continue blogging. It has been a long time I never write anything. Recently I was a bit lazy and busy watching tv.

Today, I had my lunch + tea with Mandy. We went to a Japanese restaurant at Klang Parade. I forgot the name of this shop. It has been quite a long time I didn't meet up with her and today she had surprised me by a good news! She got pregnant and will be delivering her little baby in December 09. I hope that she can safely deliver a healthy and cutie baby!

I have been working for 3 weeks already. At this moment, I still feel that my progress is very slow. I still have a lot of things to catch up. I have insufficient products knowledge. I hope by next week I can go to construction site for 2-3 days to learn how actually they do the flooring and install a playground set. Hoping for a good weather!!! I am too 'dark' enough!

Some people say that I can do sales but my boss seems like doesn't look good at me from the way he said! I shall prove to him I guess. I am telling myself, 'It's okay that I am slow at the beginning. I can do a better job after I have good product knowledge'. I should prove to my boss. Most of my colleagues are drinkers. They seem like drinking very much and drink at least 3 days a week. I hope that they won't drag me drinking.... This week I drank twice already. Monday with big boss and Friday with my boss at Kota Permai, Club House at Kota Kemuning.

Finally, my convocation's day was announced. It will be held on 12th August 2009, Wednesday afternoon. Haih... It's weekday! I wonder how many of my friend and family members will be attending......

My 1st 3D Max Masterpiece

2nd June 2009, Tuesday. Today, finally I managed finish drawing the fire extinguisher. I've started learning 3D Max since Friday. My manager, Mr Song had asked my colleague, Vincent and I to draw a fire extinguisher. After struggling for 2 days, I managed to draw it. My drawing does not look so real and pretty. Somehow, it's still my 1st masterpiece using 3D Max to draw something.

Today I was unhappy and very down. My laptop could not be on since last Saturday. Carmen had helped me to send it to the Twinhead Centre this afternoon. I was informed that most probably it could not be on because of the motherboard. A new motherboard will cost me RM750! What shall I do? Shall I change the motherboard or buy a new laptop??? Feel like crying..... I bought this laptop 22 months ago at RM3K. Now I could easily get a laptop at about RM2K with a better spec than that laptop. Dilemma. I should not spend so much money but I really need a laptop. I could not live without a laptop! Anyway, I still need to wait for another 2-3 days to get the confirmation answer from Twinhead which I have to make my decision whether to change the motherboard! Pray hard!

Luna Bar, KL

30th May 2009, Saturday. I visited Luna Bar, KL with my best pals + 'lepak kaki'. They're Carmen Wong and Gynette Teo. Luna Bar is located at the rooftop of the Pan Regency Hotel next to KL Tower. Its location is extremely strategic as we could see such a beautiful view. The atmosphere there is very comfortable. That is why; it is an ideal place for relaxing. You can get an amazing view of KL Tower and Twin Tower from there. The hotel’s swimming pool is located in the middle of Luna Bar with seatings all around the sides. The large piece of transparent glass(window) enable you to see the night view clearly. The seats at Luna Bar are quite limited. Besides the side seats, there are some seats at the upper deck and indoor. I guess the upper deck would be the best place for the best view. Unfortunately, I never have the chance to sit there.






I did not know how much exactly is the cover charge. We reached there at about 10pm and there's a cover charge of RM50 with a free drink. If I am not mistaken, the cover charge after 9.30pm on weekends is RM50 per person. Carmen and I paid for a bottle of white wine, approx. RM150 as the cover charge for two and Gynnete paid RM50for a glass of orange juice (cover charge) LOL. What an expensive orange juice. Anyway, I guess the amount paid was quite worth and was compensated by the amazing night view of KL.


We were busy taking pictures for the whole night besides enjoying the night view. We left Luna Bar at about 12.30am. After that, we went for supper at Jalan Alor. 3 of us spent RM100 for the supper. An expensive supper I would say. LOL. We had salty crab, steam 'lala', 'char kuey tiao' and BBQ chicken wings.


We paid RM61 for the crabs. They were so expensive. The crabs were not really fresh but the taste was quite nice. I love salty crab very much. It's one of my favourite food. I reached home at about 3.40am on that day. A happy and relaxing day!
